[tech help] Windows 8 bug??

Windows 8 bug??

I have windows 8 because my last laptop has vista but it unfortunately died, forcing me to upgrade. When I open wlo, all I get is a flashy screen. It loads and whatnot, but the flash is very annoying. If wlo doesn't update to 32 bit or I find a fix, it's going to force me to quit. Help?!

I am about to buy a Windows 8 lappy too, and worried to get that same problem.
